Time for soul searching after a year of rejection (an outdoor juried show/sale) and disappointment (outdoor show with few attendees and lost $). Pictured here is art that I made as a child: oil pastel stilllife and Sharpie pen drawing of girl - 4th grade, and collage/india ink Paul McCartney - from soph yr of high school. I want to feel the same enthusiasm about making art that I did back then. Rejection was unheard of, and praise flowed from all directions...back then. Its a new year, a new start. Why do I make art? Where do I want to show it- and who will the audience be? Time for a new beginning!!
