Time is the most precious of all commodities as is love, when one gives time; we learn to engage welcome in the moment, (without our iphones!!) Children are no different to grown up people, we all need to be heard, to be felt that we are welcomed in the present and to whom we are speaking to, is present & welcoming of our thoughts & story. Give yourselves a gift and connect with those closest to you for a time, learn something new. I personally had the most amazing afternoon with two trainees I earmarked to stay behind after training & so patient they were, after the certs, after the cv questions, the online course issues, the teachers & the cleaning up, the locking up, when everyone was gone, I got to listen to two strong women who are undergoing terrible abuse in their jobs...we sat, we talked, we ate, we cried, we held, we left with plans, real goals & support for a stronger future. I feel immensely grateful to be here and to be of service.
