Time to dump the conservatives and the Liberals Broke ! You know, there was a time when I knew who I would want to vote for in a Federal or Provincial election. NOT ANY MORE! I think we are in the most pathetic shape politically in Canada and Ontario right now that we have ever been and basically no-one knows who to support. The senate, bribery, ehealth, Hydro One, Ornge, gas plant fiasco, huge bonuses for incompetence, proroguing government on a whim, taxing Canadians to death. It goes on and on and we appear to be helpless to stop it. Below is a list of money given away in the past few years while we suffer in silence. We read all the jokes and forward the good ones, but I just wonder who will pass this one on. Someone please tell me what is wrong with all the people that run this country!!! CONSERVATIVES & LIBERALS, say Were broke and cant help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans Etc.,??? In the last few years we have provided direct cash aid to: Hamas - 351 M, Pakistan- 2 B, Libya 1.45 B, Egypt- 397 M, Mexico- 622 M, Russia- 380 M, Haiti- 1.4 B, Jordan- 463 M, Kenya- 816 M, Sudan- 870 M, Nigeria- 456 M, Uganda- 451 M, Congo- 359 M, Ethiopia- 981 M, South Afrika- 566 M, Senegal- 698 M, Mozambique- 404 M, Zambia- 331 M, Kazakhstan- 304 M, Iraq- 1.08 B, Tanzania- 554 M Literally Billions and they still hate us! In total Canada spends over 5 Billion a year on direct cash support of foreign aid, and 20 Billion on Immigration & Refugee programs. {wiki.answers/Q/ How_much_did_Canada_give_in_foreign_aid } Our retired seniors are living on a fixed income. Do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour hundreds of billions and tons of food to foreign countries! We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans. AUSTRALIA, UK, THE USA & CANADA - countries where we have homeless people, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without needed medication and mentally ill without treatment... Etc. YET - We still allow illegals & other free loaders on our shores, while we are lining up with food, clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies for them. Imagine if the GOVERNMENT gave US the same support they give to other countries. Sad isnt it?
