Time to reassess my eating and working out. I am pleased that I added the eliptical to my workout. I do need to add strength training especially for my upper body, but at least I did add more to my workout. I do however need to make better food choices. I find I am snacking on carbs ( I love hummus with pretzels, flavored crackers, etc). I also have been indulging in skinny cow chocolates (have you ever seen a skinny cow...just saying). So I went through the cupboards and put all no-no food in a bag and took it to the room with my eliptical in it with a note saying to think before placing this stuff in your mouth. I know moderation is the key, but I cant do moderation. I have to cut these foods out cold turkey. I plan on upping the veggies and fiber this month. Lunch today.....fish, roasted veggies and maybe some beans. We usually eat Ezkiel bread with it, but not today. gotta say I will miss it, but I gotta look at the big picture. At the end of the month I will see if it makes a differance in how I feel and look.
