Clouds thickening to give some rain later in the afternoon. Fresh west or southwesterly winds. Maximum Temperature: 15 Deg C (59 Deg F) Tonight: Patchy rain during the evening becoming heavier and more persistent overnight, followed by clear intervals and showers later. Southwesterly winds increasing strong to gale force, veering westerly later. Minimum Temperature: 9 Deg C (48 Deg F) Friday: A bright day with sunny spells and blustery showers. Strong to gale force westerly winds, reaching severe gale force at times across exposed parts of Shetland. Maximum Temperature: 13 Deg C (55 Deg F) Outlook for Saturday to Monday: Very windy with showers or longer spells of rain on Saturday, then becoming mainly dry and bright with some sunshine on Sunday and Monday, as the winds ease.
