Times up! The clock has stopped on our spring BioBlitz, but theres still a lot of work to do. All of the specimens collected in the past 24-hours need to be cataloged and identified, pinned or preserved in ethanol, and transferred to the The Academy of Natural Sciences for further identification by their entomologists. The Academy will also store these specimens with their collections, making them available for future researchers. Thank you to everyone who participated in our first ever BioBlitz!
