Timing is crazy. Just posted a few days ago about sparking steel wool with a 9V battery. Also knew that mice wont chew on steel wool so its good to put in small places that are open that you want to keep mice out of. Right above the washer in the basement are the pipes that run outside for the garden faucet. There is a small opening around the pipe and a white wire that runs with the pipe. I put the steel wool on the end of a plastic pole and pushed through till I couldnt see the outside light. If you think a 9v sparks steel wool... You should place it on a live wire that has a short in it. I thought I was going to have a heart attack before I could find plastic or rubber to pull the snapping and sparking steel wool out. Three foot out of my reach and all I could think was House on fire. Going to get electrocuted. Neither was a good option. Stupid scared cobwebbed hair leaning over the back of a metal washer into spider sparking territory. Composed. Mostly.
