Tip of the Day: Friends dont let friends pets eat PURINA ONE...and why would you want to? Its LESS expensive to feed a good quality dog or cat food from The Animal House. How? 1) Its $34 for a 31lb bag of Purina One dog food. That is $1.09/lb. We have several brands which are LESS EXPENSIVE per lb. For Cats, its $8.99 for a 3lb bag- or $3/lb. Again, we have several brands that are LESS EXPENSIVE per lb. 2) You need to feed at least 25% LESS of a good quality food from The Animal House than ANY food at the grocery store. That means you dont need to buy food as often. 3) Want to save even more money? We have a Buy 12/Get 1 Free program on ALL our kibble; does your grocery store have that? 4) Read your ingredient panel on Purina One dog (edited to show questionable ingredients): Corn Gluten Meal, Whole Grain Corn, Poultry By-Product Meal, Whole Grain Wheat, Animal fat, Soy Flakes, Soybean Meal, Animal Digest, Caramel Color.... ...or Purina One Cat: Corn gluten meal, poultry by-product meal, wheat flour, animal fat, whole grain corn, soy protein isolate, fish meal, turkey by-product meal, animal liver flavor, phosphoric acid, potassium chloride, salt, caramel color... 5) The Animal House doesnt sell any food lines with wheat, corn, soy, by-products, artificial colors or preservatives and certainly wouldnt touch vague ingredients like animal fat or poultry by-products. It is NOT CHEAPER to buy food at the grocery store. With personal attention, competitive pricing, and the convenience of being open 7 days a week at The Animal House- WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Come on and see us- all pet food is NOT created equally :)
