Tippecanoe Schools Closed Monday, November 18 LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Due to significant storm damage in Tippecanoe County, TSC schools are closed tomorrow, November 18, 2013. We expect schools to open Tuesday and resume normal operations at all locations except Mintonye Elementary and Southwestern Middle School. Contingency plans for these schools are being developed now. Mintonye and Southwestern families should expect additional communication as plans are known. At this time school personnel are assessing damage to all of our schools and facilities and early indications show that the majority of the storm damage was contained to Mintonye and Southwestern, however downed power lines and power outages across the district have made it difficult to conduct full assessments to ensure safe operations. Thank you for your patience as TSC continues to assess the situation
