Major Job Elements: Work as part of a telecom team. Perform new installation and commissioning of antenna systems or aerial/under ground equipment. Perform routine maintenance. Conduct regulatory required inspections. Drive company equipment to designated job sites. Use hand and power tools, climb towers, work at heights on poles/towers/aerial lifts, climb ladders, work in manholes and confined spaces. Load, unload, layout and prep tools/supplies/equipment/materials needed at each job site. Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Climbing ability is required. Tree trimming, iron work, power pole, or related experience is acceptable for entry level position. Experience with RF components, coax & fiber optic cable, ground testing, sweep testing, or 4G/LTE background a plus. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age or older Must possess a High School diploma or have passed a high school equivalency examination Must possess a valid and good standing provincial/state driver’s license in USA or ability to obtain within 10 days of hire Must be physically capable of performing the essential work duties. Must be able to wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds minimum Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Telecom union membership a plus, may be required to join. Union membership, if required, and Company certified tower climbing/rescue program provided.
