Tired of hearing that the only reason Michael Sam isnt on an NFL roster is because hes gay. The argument is being made that the all-SEC defensive player player of the year HAS to be good enough. Really? A few years back, Eric Crouch won the HEISMAN TROPHY, which is given to who is viewed as the best player in college football, and he didnt make it in the NFL. They even moved him out of the QB position. Another big award winner was Tim Tebow. How did the NFL work out for him. He even brought a team to the playoffs and was out of a job. Last I heard, neither of them was gay. Maybe its just that a great season in college doesnt equate to the skills needed for long term success in in the NFL.
