Tis a sad and lonely day at home this evening. RIP Trixie 8-4-14 Today I had to make a very difficult decision. My buddy Trixie, since February had lost half of her body weight due to her battle with cancer and was suffering more than I wanted to admit to myself. I want to thank the staff of Veterinary Care here in Valdosta, GA, especially Cali Cribb Price and Dr. Noah Thornhill for their compassionate services that were rendered today. Dr. Thornhill sedated Trixie and permitted me to hold her until she dozed off to sleep in my lap. She was a great companion and will certainly be missed. She originally weighed 14+ lbs. She weighed 7lbs as of this morning. The other picture is us saying our goodbyes.
