Tis the Season for several activities and happenings in the Borough of Hillsdale! Blood Drive On Sunday, December 8th, Rooting for Ruta will be holding a Blood Drive at the Borough Hall from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Appointments are requested by visiting the Community Blood Center Website at: https://donor.cbsblood.org/donor/auth/signin Christmas Tree/Menorah Lighting Wednesday, December 11th, please join us in celebrating our Annual Christmas Tree/Menorah Lighting in the Park. Donuts, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Hay Rides, Roasted Chestnuts and a Special Visitor will be on hand! Bring your camera! Activities will begin at 7:00 pm. (rain/snow date is December 12th). In addition, the Bergen County Model Railroad Club will also have their free Annual Holiday Open House at the Hillsdale Railroad Station right after the tree lighting. For more information, visit their website at bcmrrc. Toy Drive The 2013 Annual P.B.A. Toy Drive is now in full force! Please drop off any new, unwrapped toy for children at the Hillsdale Police Department. These toys will help benefit the Englewood Hospital & Medical Center, New Hope, Shelter Our Sisters, Tomorrows Children and the Wounded Warrior Project. Coat Drive Also our Annual Coat Drive is continuing to be a great success! Please drop off any gently used or new coat at the Borough Hall. Giving Tree Our Giving Tree, located in the Borough Hall Offices is set up and ready to go! Pick up a gift card at any local store to help those in need in Hillsdale. You may drop off your gift cards (any amount) at the Borough Hall. Monetary donations are also accepted.
