Title: Arf On The Housetop Writer: Hailey Merritt, Video: Amanda L’Esperance On Tues. Dec 16th, the second grade class at Southwest Elementary School performed “Arf On The Housetop” directed by Teresa Wilder. The production was performed twice, once at 2:00 p.m. for the school to watch, and the other at 7:00 p.m. for friends and family. The students dressed up like puppy dogs and sang familiar songs, but with a puppy twist. Instead of “Up on the Housetop” they changed the lyrics to “Arf on the Housetop.” “The teachers have been practicing with them in their classrooms. It’s a teamwork effort. The kids enjoy showing their inner actor and embracing it,” Musical Director, Mrs. Teresa Wilder, says.
