Titleist Ball Fitting Day & Putting and Chipping Clinic Saturday 10th May 2014 THE GOLF BALL YOU PLAY MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR GAME There’s only one piece of equipment you use on every shot: your golf ball. Every shot counts and so does your golf ball. Yet we often hear golfers say they play “whatever is in my bag.” Performance and quality differences between golf ball brands are game-changing, especially around the green. Playing with the same golf ball model every round eliminates this performance variation and will help you hit more greens in regulation and hit the ball closer to the pin to convert more putts. This is one of the first steps to developing a more consistent game. Titleist will have a Sales Representative and ball technician at Pontardawe on the day. - Pay £5 in the Pro shop and collect your Ball Fitting Voucher. - Take the Voucher to the Titleist representive. - Situated on the putting green between 11am - 3pm, they will have a 5-10 minute discussion with you. - You can also then try the balls on the green with your Putter. - You will then return to the shop with your voucher and ball recommendations. There you will be given the 4 FREE balls recommended (worth up to £15) to take away and try. - Your £5 Voucher is then valid for 1 week to spend on any Titleist balls. Short Game Clinic - Putting & Chipping To add to the occasion PGA Professional Jonathan Clewett from Clyne will also be attending and will be giving short game clinics every hour. Classes will be FREE of charge and give members the opportunity to get some valuable tips and techniques that will allow them to improve their short game. Clinics will start at 12.00pm, 1.00pm & 2.00pm. Proper ball fitting is conducted on the golf course and includes an evaluation of all shots. Since all Titleist golf balls provide exceptionally long distance, our focus places the greatest emphasis on approach shots into the green. You’ll hit more approaches than drives in every round and these shots will have the greatest impact on the number of greens you hit, the proximity to the hole and your overall score.
