To ALL who support Rehema In Step (Rehema Ministries) we have been given a way to earn money without a whole lot of work from the ministry. Our mission is to take in gently used and like new items for resale at our shop in Anacortes, convert them to cash, and distribute the funds to local Christian Missions & Ministries. “New Life” opened on November 1st, and (after opening expenses) dispersed more than $2,000 to local Missions & Ministries in early January. Our vision is to distribute more than twice that amount on a quarterly basis. Our inventory comes from YOU. If it’s taking up space; the kids don’t want it; the garage is packed; or you’re paying to store your “stuff” – this is a great opportunity to convert your “Abundant Blessings” to fund Rehema / In Step Ministries (among others) supported by this shop! VOLUNTEER… Your time is money, and it’s FUN! · When you volunteer you stipulate that credit for the time you work be given to Rehema In Step! The pay is figured at $10 per hour. · Volunteers can work a half-shift of 3 ½ hours on Tuesdays and Fridays, or a short 2 ½ hour shift on Saturday. · The shop employs a PIC (Person In Charge) to handle sales. · The volunteers role is to receive donations, sort and clean them, and help in the pricing process. There is need for more volunteers. By the way, you will NOT be signed up for life! You may commit to a day or a month at a time -- and re-up if you want!
