To Be Lead By The Spirit (Sunday 25 January 2015) I am led by the Holy Spirit, you hear people saying. But how does one get led by Spirit? How can you see that this one is led by the Spirit? Is it one of those things that is said works by faith? This is one thing most Christians would like profess to be, but do not understand how one can be led by it. When being led by the Spirit does it transform one into a super being by faith? For years when I was in a religion I put to faith in all things, from being Spirit Filled by faith, being Spirit Led by faith that I did not understand. All things I could not understand I would apportion it to faith. But not understanding the meaning of the verse which says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the Word of Elohim (Romans 10:17). My brethren being led by the spirit simply means being led by the word of YaHWeH. YaHShua said The words that I speak are spirit and life (John 6:63) Since the words that he spoke were not of his own but of YaHWeHs, (John 12:49) Then it means that those word were Holy Words (Spirit) so now it makes sense if one says I am led by the Holy Spirit it simply means one is let by the Holy Word. How so? At the end of last year I bought two cars from a dealer a Jetta and a Golf which needed fixing. Due to the space constraints I picked up only one the Jetta. I then left for my yearly prayer retreat after notifying the car dealer that I was coming in January to pick up the Golf which he agreed. But come January I went to pick up the car it was not there I was then told the dealer sold it. I was so angry as I was led by a spirit which was saying The dealer is taking you for a fool, deal with him accordingly. So I planned to go and deal with the dealer once and for all and get him arrested as a fraud as he was, I thought. But on my way to meet the dealer and his partner the Word of YaHWeH came to me and said I know the thoughts that I have for you thoughts not of evil but to prosper you and to give you hope (Jeremiah 29:11) I started thinking if YaHWeH knew the plan that He has for me then that means the Golf was not in His plan to prosper me or to give me hope. When that happened it changed my whole thoughts over the incident by the time I got to the dealer the spirit of peace was in the lead. I met the dealer and asked him for the papers of the Jetta which he gave me. Because of my calmness the dealer did not understand. I then told him that YaHWeH knows the plans He has for me and I believe that the Golf was not for the best spiritual interest for me. The person cried and said they were not bad people it was just that they did not know what was happening. I remember again the word forgive so that you maybe forgiven(Matthew 6:14) When they asked me to forgive them I simply accepted and we hugged and I left in high spirits(high words of praise to YaHWeH). My brethren I realised that is called to be led by the spirit not my own fleshly desires. Seek to be led by the Holy Word (Spirit) of YaHWeH at all the times and it will be well with you.
