To Being Happier!! So many times, we have heard people say that happiness is a state of mind. Well, we may have the knowledge to know how to be blissful, but we often find ourselves struggling to stay blissful. The reason for this is because being content doesn’t come from forcing our thoughts, feelings or emotions, but instead from understanding how our mind works to create lasting happiness. First thing’s first: don’t think that things outside of you will bring you happiness. Nothing outside of you can create happiness for you. You need to decide yourself that nothing going on outside of you has any power. You are the only person that can make yourself happy. Here are a few tips that work like wonders to help keep your happiness intact: 1. Analyze the cause of unhappiness – When you find yourself unhappy, you must first find out what caused the misery before you react. Use your brain to analyze the cause and get to the bottom of the issue. When you do this, the problem or challenge that caused you to be unhappy will many times shrink. 2. Focus on being happy – There is a saying that goes, “what you focus on expands.” This means that you should not focus on the unhappiness. If you admit to yourself that you’re unhappy, then you will be unhappy, perhaps even more so than before. By changing how you view your situation, you will bring on an amazing change. 3. Monitor your thoughts – Everything begins with thoughts. Therefore, you should monitor your thoughts and focus only on the positives. At first, it may be hard to do this, but with practice it will become a piece of cake. 4. Take action – Once you find a solution for your misery, don’t wait to take action. Taking action will often cure unhappiness, as well as help you with challenges and problems. If you take action right away to solve the issue, then you will be happy. 5. Repeat the process – Once you find a way to deal with your unhappy feelings and emotions, nothing can stop you. If you are unhappy, all you have to do is repeat the process or step that you know will help you be happy. No matter what situation you’re in, always remember: you are the person responsible for your happiness. Nothing that comes from the outside is going to help make you happy. Only you can decide what to focus on, what to think about, and how to solve your challenges. Eventually, you will be the master of your own happiness. When misery tries to creep in, it will have no room to stay. You will know how to kick it out right away, before it plants its roots inside you.
