To Boost or not to Boost. As you are probably aware much of the world and Australia as moved away from ESC boost for all touring car classes (excluding Open). However here in Victoria VORTEC still sanctions 21.5 Boosted and 13.5 Boosted as official classes. 17.5 blinky is set to replace 21.5 Boosted for 2015. However there has been a move for Victoria to follow the rest of Australia and the world and changing 13.5 Boosted to 13.5 Blinky. Some testing has been undertaken and shown the speed of 13.5 Blinky still be be significantly faster than 21.5 Boosted. Other comments made include that 13.5 Boost is nearly as fast as Open so why not just race Open. If that is the case then comes the discussion of Open and Open Pro for more experienced drivers. We are interested in what you think. Would you like to see 13.5 Boost be replaced with 13.5 Blinky and why or why not. Thanks in advance for you input.
