To Changeadogslife 7:39pm Sep 18 So Kizzer’s people said they’ve only had him for 6 months of his 7 years and decided that he needed to go sit in a cage at Brooklyn ACC because they have allergies. In decent health when he came in, Kizzer has already caught the shelter “cold”. Kizzer was not happy to go to the shelter but did the best he could. When it came time to his behavioral eval, Kizzer showed the world that he knows how to be a good dog. Still so scared that he trembled during the eval, he still managed 1’s and 2’s on almost all the exam items, including that big hand moving his food and the dog on dog part. He did take exception to that hand trying to take his rawhide but after all, a grown up guy has to take a stand sometime! ACC has decided their time with Kizzer is up and they’ve put him on tomorrow’s morning euthanasia list. Tonight, Kizzer needs to find that special person who can look at his pictures and videos, see how scared he is, and look at that face (and those SAFER results) and know that this good dog would be a wonderful addition to their home. If you’re that person, step up now to foster or adopt Kizzer. But do it now—tomorrow Kizzer will be gone forever!
