To: Comrades of the University of Limpopo In 2010 Professor Jansen disbanded the first SASCO led SRC for its dicisiveness on transformational issues. SASCO leaders were expelled and the expulsion was later overturned. The SRC constitution was changed overnight . We then challenged the change in court and our then Provincial secretary Tom Thabane was given a Rectors Block to not continue with his academics because he was the locus standi. We then handed ourselves as locus standi with other leaders Thabiso, Tswelopele,Henry, Jack and Myself though jack Nteso came late who was the then Branch secretarylittle did we know that Jack will then be chased by a A19 rule in September for having five years without completing his degree though he was not on campus for 2 years because of material conditions. SASCO was marginalized at all cost as the Rector wanted to be the only body of opinion on campus. We then had a transitional SRC for more than a year, then we contested the 2012 SRC and only had 3 SRC members. In 2013 we then went to back basics and successfully had a President from our ranks. Though this year we didnt have one of our own due to organisational instability. Even though some within our ranks advocated for such history will judge them as the President continues to bash the student movement. The morale of my submission is that the SRC outcome does not have an element of permanence. The student movement particularly in Turf has being a driver of change in the country and is entrusted with the responsibility of championing the working class struggle. We led this revolution before this Lumpen-proletariat EFF. For the revolution is ours we will surely lead it. Dont Dispare for a SASCO tsunami in Turf shall prevail for its beyong University management and all psuedo revolutionaries. Yours in struggle Ntakuseni Thendo Razwiedani Aluta Continue
