To: Defenders – Abu Shagara Basketball League Date: July 27, 2013 Commissioner/Chairman/Officials We are writing this letter to protest the incident happened yesterday, July 26, 2013 between the game of Bulacan Syndicate and Papuri Style. Table officials allowed Mr Navarro, wearing jersey no. 12, to play the game in the middle of the 4th quarter. He is present during the course of the game but he is not wearing his playing uniform. But due to circumstances, he was fielded in to the game. Under FIBA rule, wherein D-ASBL is currently applying, Basic Basketball rules Number of players If you want to play basketball for fun, you have the possibility of playing on your own. But you can also play team games with either 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 players on each teams. Teams can be mixed, with boys and girls, or not. On a competition level, a team is made up of 5 players playing on the court and 5 players sitting on the bench that can be used for substitution during the whole period of the game. If you will analysed the said phrase, who can sit on the bench during the game? Those coaches and players who are going to play and in proper uniform.
