To Everyone, it seems there was never a proper development forum organised to inform, educate and empower our people with regards to the Gulf Oil and Gas prospects in the province. Although our national and provincial government have come this far, since 2009 in Kokopo till this day, our people are still in the dark as to how, what, where and how we are to participate in this resource development sector. I am now calling on every elite and educated person from East Kerema to West Kerema, Central Kerema Rural, East Kerema Rural, Kaintiba Rural, Kerema Urban, Kotidanga Rutal, Lakekamu-Tauri Rural, Baimuru Rural, East Kikori Rural, Ihu Rural, West Kikori Rural....Its time the people must take the lead in informing, educating and empowering our people to be the legitimate owners of their resources. I need a team made up of passionate individuals from all the Sub Districts to draw up the first Development Forum.
