Importance: High For all you dog owners out there....just got word that there is a group of people trying to steal dogs for fighting, bate and for re-selling! Apparently dogs have already been stolen in the Kintore, Ellon and Inverurie areas. They are also on our beaches by tempting the dogs with sausages - i.e. they are dropping bits of sausages and the dogs are following the scent of the meat and following it. Once the dogs get to the source, the guy puts a lead on the dog and takes the dog away! A woman managed to run after her dog and the guy told her that it was her dog and he refused to give the dog back until she said that the dog was chipped and that they should wait for the police. The guy gave her dog back! She was lucky!!! They are also putting graffiti on your house walls to let others know that there are dogs there. Just watch out for these criminals!!! Safe guard your dogs!!! The vets are all aware of what is happening! Please pass this on!!!
