To Question a Bridges Crossing Time has been lapsed Folded over in pages Read over and transcribed In subtle stages I look back onto everything The small the large the meaningful dream A picture or painting Canvassed with a medium unseen Colorful walkways and bleak looking bridges Extend forward into a clouded air Crossing my legs I sit pondering my cross Praying I dont wander into what is not there I pace and I sit and I pace and sit The chances to cross come and go before my eyes All I can hope for is a crossing of the heart Not a persuasion of lies And I dont have to be deep I only seek what any other one would seek Not some doll of self righteous difference But a closet freak with a logical inference haha Everybody sees what they want to see And everybody remembers what they choose to remember Im not going to dwell on the past cuz honestly I said goodbye to it in december
