Subject: Request for departmental action against Prof Dr. Asad Aslam Khan Respected Sir, With reference to the above stated subject it is submitted that Prof Dr. Asad Aslam Khan Pro VC, DG PIPO/Principal COVAS, Prof of eye unit 3 mayo hospital & national coordinator for prevention of blindness held 20th meeting of the Syndicate of KEMU on 16.01.2013 under his chairmanship at the council room of the KEMU. That the aforementioned meeting of the Syndicate was attended by 14 members of the syndicate. In the ex agenda item No. 4 titled ‘conversion of Broom’s Hostel in girls hostel at KEMU Lahore, Prof Asad Aslam khan informed the house that 5 doctors namely Prof Muhammad Amjad Professor of ENT ,Dr Salman Kazmi, Dr Talha Sherwani, Dr Aslam Rao and Dr Rana Sohail were involved in creating hurdles against the decision Photocopy of the minutes of the said meeting is attached as Annexure A. As per this misleading statement of Prof. Dr. Asad Aslam Khan decision was taken by Syndicate to recommend action against us to Health Department Govt of the Punjab, through this decision which was the result of this false and misleading statement of Prof. Asad Aslam Khan, the applicants and his fellow colleagues were condemned unheard. It is pertinent to note that Prof Asad aslam Khan had personal grudges against us and falsely placed our names in this meeting as we as Young Doctors Association had given 5 news paper advertisements appealing to the worthy Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan, Lahore High Court, Chief Minister Punjab and Governor Punjab to appoint a regular Vice Chancellor in King Edward Medical University on merit which was our constitutional right. This is noteworthy that nothing has been reported against us from the Chief Warden of the girls or boys hostels or other worthy Professors of the university in this regards and afterwards your good self was kind enough to declare the whole decision of conversion of the boys hostel into girls hostel as illegal and have ordered the construction of a new block in girls hostel for which an advertisement has already been published in the national daily news papers inviting tenders. Keeping in view the aforementioned circumstances, it is most humbly requested to your goodself to take departmental action against the Pro VC Prof Asad Aslam Khan for presenting false and misleading information to the meeting of the Syndicate and using the prestigious forum to fulfill his personal agendas against us and conducted his personal vendetta.
