To The Left While the Senate was dealing with the Keystone - TopicsExpress

To The Left While the Senate was dealing with the Keystone Pipeline the House was working on their plan to make it harder for qualified independent scientist to advise the EPA. The will would make it easier for scientist with financial ties to corporation to serve on the Science Advisory Board (SAB) and would make it harder for scientist who have applied for EPA grants to serve on the board. Another Republican example of “if you don’t like the results then picker people who will give you what you like”. This is like just the beginning of the effort to rein in the EPA and get it to say what corporations want rather than what science facts prove. The President is threatening to veto this alone with other EPA related House bills. Rich thinkprogress.org/climate/2014/11/18/3593645/house-epa-science-advisory-board-bill/
