To The Vice Chancellor West Bengal University of Technology Salt Lack City Kolkata Subject: About the ill behaviour of the Principal towards the students. Respected Sir, We are sorry to inform you that past few days in our college has been dreadful for all the students in the college which is intolerable. The Principal is behaving brutally with us. So considering all the aspects we demand resignation of our principal for the betterment of our college and its future due to following reasons: • During last few days his unbearable behaviour reached new heights. Students are undergoing Physical and Mental harassment. He is being Physical both with boys and girls without any reason which is illegal as per the norms passed by The Supreme Court of India. • Most of the students in the college belong to poor family who pursue their study by education loans. The principal charges students with financial punishments for any violation of rules, sometimes 15,000 to each student. He has made this another source of income which is unethical as well as illegal. • He has suspended the whole college without any explanatory reason and has threatened the hostilities (boys and girls both) to leave the hostel by 23/08/2014 12.00 pm or else he will cut the electricity and water supply. • He also uses threatening language to some of us who raise their voice against him. • He is also partial to some branches and behaves brutally with the students of core branches. • He verbally abuses and threatened about forged police cases. • He has been creating problem since last year. There has been no cultural and technical fest under his authority. Thus it seems we are experiencing dictatorship in our college which is intolerable. His behaviour is quiet threatening for the reputation of the college and its future. It is also hampering our skill and self respect. He is indulging in corporal punishment and has no botheration of rules and regulations. His resignation is the immediate need for the betterment of our college.We have drafted many letters to the college authority about the same but till date no action has been taken towards this matter. We remain in anticipation for your early response.
