To This Day is a bullying awareness project based on the spoken word poem “To This Day”, which was written and performed by Shane Koyczan. He wrote it to demonstrate the lasting, often lifelong effect bullying can have on individuals. The creative studio Giant Ant paired up with Shane to spread his message to the masses, and they sent out a call for artwork submissions. The result was a video that pulled together 20-second segments featuring 86 different animators and motion artists. “This collaborative volunteer effort demonstrates what a community of caring individuals are capable of when they come together,” the To This Day website states.
