To all: In 2008 shortly after getting married I moved to Moyock. I immediately fell in love with the slower paced, country style living that Moyock and Currituck County had to offer. I was new to both Facebook and the County at the time and I thought I would create this Moyock page for people like me to interact with the great citizens of Moyock and Currituck County in order learn more about what this area had to offer. Sadly, due to some life changes (divorce, etc..) I was forced to sell my house and move away from the area. I loved watching this page grow everyday, but I knew the time would come when I would have to turn this page over to its rightful owners , the citizens of Moyock. After careful consideration I have appointed Denise Asaro Hall as the new page admin. I know her and I trust that she will be fair minded when it comes to the administration of this page. Denise has selected Kristen Hill Hardan to also assist with the administration duties. Ive interacted with both of them and I feel that this page will be in good hands. I know things have gotten lively in here with the upcoming elections, but please do not forget the original reason this page was created: To discuss life in Moyock, North Carolina. The impassioned differences of opinion are what make a free society like ours unique, but please remember these words from Thomas Jefferson, I never consider a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend. Thanks to everyone who has made this page a success. There will always be a place in my heart for Moyock and Currituck County. God Bless.
