To all Parents whose children think math story problems dont prepare you for anything, let them try to explain how to answer this real one I just received from a customer: Fusions and Shipping are both taxed at 7.775%, but labor and other products in the system are not taxed. In the product catalog section, in the Tax Included catalog, it looks like there is a calculation to get us to 43% default DGM which is FE+75%. Then, for Fusions and Shipping and Other, it is a FE+83.57%. We are wondering if we could change the tax calculation to be on Cost for only Fusions and Shipping (not Other), to FE+7.775% (just the 7.775% tax calculation) and the DGM calculation to be on Sell for Fusions and Shipping to FE+75%. That way, when we are adjusting GP on the Sell screen in Pricing, if we change the GP to the DGM we want, it doesn’t add on an additional percentage to account for tax. Yes, that was for real. Im not sure I have an answer yet but Ill come up with one...
