To all, This is Justin - the guy that came and adopted beautiful Sedona a little under two years ago. I wish things could be different, but here we are. We had to return our beautiful Sedona back to the Humane Society of Hamilton County. We recently had a son that spent six weeks in the NICU, as well as two days at Riley Hospital. I had to undergo surgery just two weeks ago to have a tumor removed. Sedona requires a surgical procedure that we just cannot afford due to the medical bills that are starting to flood our mailbox. We are now even considering letting go of the house we currently live in - which weighed in on the decision of giving her back (breed restrictions). We struggled with this decision for several weeks. In this short time we owned her, she became a part of our family and we loved her as such. She would sleep in the bed with us at night, curling up as close to the edge as she could without falling off. She would snuggle up next to us on the couch during movie nights. She is a very loving pet. She has a personality like none other. I have some of my hardest, tear-inducing laughs just watching her play and run around - or as those at the Humane Society will remember as the zoomies. I was with tearful eyes that I said my goodbyes to her this morning before I had to go to work. If you are looking for a new family member - please adopt Sedona. She needs a family that can care for her where I have failed. If you can, please make a donation to the shelter in Sedonas name. We were quoted $900+ from several veterinary doctors. We will be making donations to the Humane Society, albeit small ones. To everyone at the shelter, from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry for the burden and the disappointment towards me, as her [former] owner. Thank you for being willing to take her back and care for her. Please PM me if you would like to take ownership of this page once again. To everyone else, thank you for supporting her.
