To all friends: please share with anyone you think would be interested. LGBT house-share in Worthing We have two places available in our house in friendly Worthing. One place is available immediately, and the other towards the end of April. It may be possible for a couple to move in immediately at a pinch, and then spread out later! You would be joint tenants with us. The landlord will want to do a credit check and we are told is unlikely to accept people on benefits, alas. If we are three, rather than four, people here, which would be OK for us, youd need to pay £316.67 a month plus your share of the bills. If we end up being four, wed all be paying £237.50 each plus the bills. It is just possible that the landlord will put up the rent next month, but were hoping not. If so, it shouldnt be by very much. We are 5-10 minutes walk from both Worthing and West Worthing stations; there are frequent trains to Brighton and two trains an hour to Victoria. Theres also a great bike path most of the way to Brighton. Youd get your own room and share in the rest of the large house (kitchen, sitting room, dining room, two bathrooms). Its an Edwardian house, and not wheelchair-friendly, unfortunately, but there is central heating, double glazing, wi-fi and cabled internet, and a landline phone. We have two cats. Theres a sunny yard at back near the railway line with a small vegetable plot and shed; the yard is great for summer evening barbecues.
