To all my facebook friends today i offically retired for the shipyard leaveing over 43 years behined me to include miltary and shipyard time combined.to me it has been an honnor and a privledge to have worked with and along side of those i have come in contact with.you always look forward to the day you retire, but when the day comes you realize how hard it is to leave what you have been doing the past 43 year. as well as my own family , in the shipyard we have always been one close nit family especially the swing shift were i have been for over 20 years and whitch will never to be forgotton.now that i am retired i plan to spend much moore quality time with my family here at home. may the good lord watch over you all and bless each and every on of you. in closeing what can i say but thanks from the bottom of my heart for the memories. take care (hank arens).
