To all my family: Most of you do not know who I am or how I think. I am a husband to Juanita Cortez. A father to Mandie , Johnny , and Brandi. A grandfather to Tristan and Brianna. A brother to Felix, Elmo, Sonny,Delia,Freddy and Robert. Most of all a son born to my beloved father and mother ,Evaristo and Natevidad Cortez. I was taught to do right and to work hard. My mother taught me the ways of Jesus , whom I call my Lord and Savior. A very small part of who I am. Now a very big part of how I think. This is MY THINKING: WHEN I WAS BORN , I CRIED AND THE WORLD SMILED. I WANT MY WALK WITH CHRIST TO BE , THAT WHEN I DIE , THE WORLD CRY AND I WILL SMILE. JOHN CORTEZ 9/23/47
