To all my lovely friends, I have been a bit distant lately, for which I apologise. We have had a rough couple of months, with my knee surgery, and then in January my mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer and also possible lymphoma. We kept it to ourselves as we all had to get our heads around it and deal with whatever the outcome may be. Mum had her surgery 1 1/2 weeks ago and it was a success. She is now clear of bowel cancer and we dont think she will need any further treatment. Love you, Mum!! I am still struggling a bit with my knee, having good and bad days and life is a bit hard at the moment, but getting better. All in all, we are thankful that mum is ok, but it has given us all a wake up call and a shock!!
