To all my well-wishers, and friends, I am doing fine. Awaiting a visit from the District Nurse so she can check / assess how my chest and leg wounds are healing, and when the stitches need to come out, and a call from my cardiac nurse specialist. When something like the experience I have had occurs, you realise how bloody marvellous OUR health service is, but it is only marvellous because of the fabulous, wonderful people working within it, from the most overworked porter or cleaner to the top, most skilled surgeons ....... (some of whom worked on me !! ). Their efforts and skill make it possible for me to be sitting here, typing this ..... instead of being part of the smoke in the crematorium chimney. I woke up this morning because of their effort and their skill. R E S P E C T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
