To all of my Ashton Facebook friends. Tonight at about 8.15pm my boys and I have been threatened in Jubilee park tonight by a man in his late 50s walking a white pitbull/bulldog dog called Max. He is bald/shaved head about 5 8, with stubble. He lets his dog off the lead but he has no control over it. The dog is attracted to footballs and will bite and shake them until its destroyed, the dog will take them off kids. My boys were old enough to not try and take the ball off the dog or stop the dog but if there is a toddler with a football and the dog jumps and takes the ball, it couldve been much worse. This man is very aggressive, shouting and screaming at the boys and blaming them for not picking the football up in time. Then being abusive to me when Ive challenged him about him shouting and scaring my boys and having his dog off the lead. This is the third time I have seen this happen in the last few weeks, so it must have happened to others too. This has been reported to the police tonight. If you have had similar problems or know who he might be please can you report it to the police or message me on here. My boys were really upset by this so I wanted to share as Id hate anything serious happen to someones child.
