To all of you that have an opinion about Bruce Lee, remember this: A legend that gained his reputation before your time, obtained that legendary status for a reason and you are not part of that reason; therefore, find out what you don’t know! Bruce Lee was all about TENACITY. He was the most ferocious fighting machine of the 20th century. How do I know these things? I am an eyewitness to watching Bruce decimate ANY AND ALL challengers that Bruce invited and went up against in his Seattle home base. The people that showed up ranged from 5 foot 2 to 7 feet tall. Bruce destroyed ALL of them and was nice enough not to hurt them too bad and would invite them to stay for dinner. Why do you think Bruce took Kareen Abdul Jabbar as a student? Kareem said that Bruce thought that his 7 foot 2 height would pose a problem for Bruce but he soon learned that Bruce was much more of a problem for Kareem even after Bruce worked with him for more than a year. Bottom line, if any of you would have a private sit down with Chuck Norris, he would tell you the following. Bruce was one of the nicest guys I ever met and I loved him like a brother. Chuck and Bruce worked out together for 18 months and even went at it in a motel hallway till 4 am. Chuck has told very few people that Bruce could decimate anything on two legs. Bruce called competition Karate Dry Land Swimming. Bruce thought it was a joke because he did not fight for points. Bruce taught and fought to win and that meant breaking legs, biting, tearing an eye ball out etc. Very few people understand how tenacious Bruce Lee was. He indeed had tremendous charisma and super good looks being part Chinese and part German. Bruce was what the Harlem Globetrotters were to the white basketball players. He grew out of Wing Chung and studied every marital art known to man and even studied Muhammad Ali and incorporated his dancing in order to eliminate rigidity that impedes many forms of martial arts. Bottom line, I am an eyewitness to the greatest fighting machine that ever lived. Watch the fight scene between Bruce and Chuck in Enter the Dragon. Bruce told Chuck that he wanted to not only beat the World Champ but to KILL him. Chuck loved it and what you will see in the movie is Bruce showing the world a very different approach to martial arts. Study it carefully, watch how he evades blows when the music starts and he starts dancing like Ali. Watch the amazing hand speed. Most importantly, watch how Chuck Norris uses his Dry land Swimming techniques and how useless they are against the way of the intercepting fist. Bruce Lee is a legend for a reason and when you fully understand why he obtained that extremely rare title you will come to realize that he was the greatest fighting machine that ever lived and one of the nicest human beings that ever walked this earth.
