To all of you who are dealing with heart ache. Please know that while you are in this pain right now...it will get better. Be brave enough to feel it and process the grief. Through the fire and darkness there is light. Allow yourself to feel happiness when there is happiness and that feeling will become familiar again. Yesterday, i let go of the pain and i let go of my need to need my husband...and my need to be needed by him. I let go of what i expected him to be in the past, because i dont want to be bitter and carry resentment anymore. I realize that i got lost in what i thought i had..and i took it for granted that i had it too...never thinking that in a moment it could be gone as well. I thought that i had jumped into our marriage with both feet...i thought he did too. The truth is...if we did... we would not be in this situation right now. Both of us had one foot out the door, because our scars ran too deep. I lit my candle before i went to bed last night...and i prayed some more ...i slept sound. It was the first time in almost 2 weeks. This morning i decided that i am worth more than what i have allowed myself to have in my past. My husband and i have been working on his own past issues of unworthiness, guilt and shame....and healing his past wounds...so that it no longer affects his future. I have realized over this whole thing...that ...I too... deserve divine love, happiness, and for someone to be faithful and trustworthy to me. My feet are now firmly planted and i can feel my roots growing fast. ACTIONS...speak louder than words... When someone says that they love you... but act in a way that says differently ...pay attention. The words unspoken, the lack of eye contact, tones in the voice and how words are spoken to you, the avoidance and distance, the body language and the lack of the level of commitment and connection are sometimes the loudest messages that we dont allow ourselves to listen too or hear. youtube/watch?v=d_afgeTAopc
