To all of you young professional athletes, I know its hard not to listen to what the masses say about a profession that they dont know anything about! But, ask those in the game, and study those successful & unsuccessful before you! Take what you can use, and throw out what you dont want to use for you! Choose wisely, as the path you pick may produce negative consequences! What worked for someone else, might not work for you? Dont do what someone else wants you to do; do what you want to do! In high school, I heard coaches tell players they were only good enough to play at a junior college(nothing wrong with JCs), and most players believed them! These players never even attempted to apply for a 4 year college listening to the coach! How about applying to college not for a sport maybe? Study for yourself & be who you want to be! In college.....some coaches tell guys to go be good on special teams! You can be a robot & listen to the people that have never been there before! Or you can strive to be the best at your position, at let them live their dream of only wanting to make it to play special teams! Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Day! All I know is that Muhammad Ali is called the Greatest of All Time(G.O.A.T) and he didnt do an interview like anyone else in the world!
