To all parents out there, remember you can only guide your children. If you love them you will allow them to develop their own personality and to make their own decisions regarding their future. You can make suggestions and give guidance. You cannot impose your will on them. It is not fair for you to make demands and give commands. Look at your own life, did you follow every word of your parent. Your child is only born through you, you nurture and treasure them whilst they are with you and then you must learn to let go, so they can become independent individuals. Hating them for the choices they make and holding permanent grudges, how is that going to help you as an individual. In reference to the case at unit 7, surely this parent needed some kind of psychiatric help. Your child is really not yours to destroy. Just because you gave birth to someone does not give you that sense of entitlement to do as you please. What kind of mentality does one have to kill their own child or for a child to kill a parent. If truth be told nobody belongs to anyone, they merely come through you. Each is born with their own personality. Show respect, understanding and choices your children make. So you can also have respect. Hate, anger, jealousy cannot resolve issues. You had a life, why cannot your child have one to. It is sad that the people are destroying their own lives. I know that this is the dark ages, but surely you have the power within you to make a change. This man killed his daughter, he took her away from her children. What kind of person or parent would do that???
