To all second year, third year and postgraduate law students - TopicsExpress

To all second year, third year and postgraduate law students interested in the Bar: The Free Representation Unit (FRU) has organised two training days for 31st May and 7th June 2014, for students wanting to become FRU volunteers. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and hone your advocacy skills, in a real life setting. You will be using statute and case law to present a case in front of a judge, at the Social Security (31st May) or Employment (7th June) tribunal on behalf of your client. For anyone wishing to proceed to the Bar, this is a must! Chambers look favourably in participation in FRU, and its a healthy addition to any mooting experience you may have gained. You must attend one of these training days, at a cost of £40, and complete an (easy) online test. All details are on the FRU website: (thefru.org.uk/volunteers/attending-the-training-days)
