To all the friends and family, today I said goodbye to this great and gentle soul. Patch declined quickly in health and this morning he could not stand on his own. His spirit was lively, even on his final drive, head out the window and barking, though his barking was significantly subdued from most of these occasions. He passed quickly in my loving arms at the vet office and I held him close and told him I loved him repeatedly until the light left his eyes and he became still ... I never could have been strong enough to endure this without Robbie Gonzalez. He loved Patch with great intensity. To many of you who inquired and messaged me, THANKS!!!
