To all the great friends, musical brothers and sisters-in-arms, - TopicsExpress

To all the great friends, musical brothers and sisters-in-arms, and all of the wonderful people who came to Outlaw Boots & Eclectic Emporium last night - thank you. For just over an hour or so time stood still, and I was back in the element that I was always meant to be present in. What an incredible feeling it was to see so many familiar faces out there, in the very intimate and musician-friendly environment that Dale and Deb have created for us to do our thing. And even though hes not on FB, Im so incredibly grateful for my friend Carl Miner coming by and sitting in with me. It was almost just like the old days when I was first starting out when it was just John, him and me traveling together. Hes moving back to Nashville soon, and I will miss him terribly, but it was apropos for the next phase of my career to begin with his being there. Thanks also to my good friend Rick Cates for sharing his voice, guitar, gear and support for, what ended up being as good of a time for everyone as Id hoped that it would be. Personally, as a side note, the boots that I decided to donate to their wall of fame have a lot of history to them, but they represent the past. Its now time to focus on the future. The night couldnt have gone any better, and the experience for me was inspirational, because the feeling of being able to connect to the audience was like no other. And the finale was something Ill remember and treasure for a very long time. You all really know how to make a guy feel loved... and you sang beautifully, too. :) Thank you for giving me another wonderful memory. I promise to not let it go to my head. On to the next one. Love to all. -ba
