To all the kids who had their farewell, for those who had been on the other side of the desk, and also for those who were never there.... I know I have deliberately kept myself aloof from you all since I left. I want you to know two things. As you stand at the threshold of what you think is uncertainty and wonder, never forget for a moment that you have come a long way, which is not even half the path traversed. Never for a moment forget what you have learnt, (mostly off your syllabus), and what you have not, (which will be increasingly important for you in the coming phase of your life). It will be a time most enchanting, most frustrating, testing, and you will gather along the way, shreds of memories, scraps of yourself. I wish you all my love. Good luck. Oyndrila Sarkar.
