To all the lovely people who commented and sent best wishes and break my legs in response to my post Wed re: going to Smithville to shoot, Thank you. It was Smithville, Tx Phil. Id have called you if it had been Tenn. It was a good shoot and I wrapped. I worked with the nicest bunch, cast and crew, that any one could wish for. Josh Duhamel, (woohoo!!) and a young actor named Josh Wiggins are the kind of folks you cant wait to work with again. The writer/director is a young man named Trey Nelson and Id go anywhere to work with him again. Do you guys realize how blessed I am? I have friends like you; the best husband in the world; great kids and grand kids and one great great grand; I have super sisters and their kids who love and support me; my wonderful Lord has given me the strength and talent to be still working at a job I love. I have an agent whose door is always open to me and who works for my best interests. I have met amazing people and traveled all over the US of A doing that job. Ive worked with some of the best directors, actors, camera people and crews in the business. Ive worked on the stage, (even New York and Nashville), with some of the best country and bluegrass musicians and singers in the business, to say nothing of two of the best bosses in legit theatre: Randy and Danny. Whod have thought that this sand between my toes, Texas Gulf Coast, dirt street girl would have all that? Not me, but God looked down at a 23 inch, 9 pound squalling baby low those many years ago and said, I think Ill give this one the world in her later years. Itll surprise every one, most of all her. And HE did and it did. Dont forget the name of the film is LOST IN THE SUN. Itll probably be at least a year before its released but believe me Ill remind you. Ill see some of you in April at Region 10 Comp and I hope Ill see the rest of you before too long. In the meantime, thanks again. I love ya. Mag
