To all the people who have lost beardies and are/have been heartbroken. I always think of something my friend who was in his 80s said to me when I lost my beloved Jake. He told me I should grieve because I had lost one of the few family members who was closest to me. He said he had cried and grieved more for his dogs over the years than his relatives, some relatives he didnt grieve for. I thought this was a harsh thing to say over his family. He said No my dogs are my constant companion always there with their undying love, my relatives he said I might not see them for months or years and dont really know them. Why should I grieve for someone I neither know or really care about. When you lose your fur babies you realise these are some of the truest words you will hear. God Bless all furbabies and their humans.
