To all the people who thinks its appropriate to park in the roads around the town such as tanners lane and fieldway, it is not. People live along these roads and are getting blocked in or are unable to park near their homes. Commuters and people who work in Haslemere town are the worst for this...with regular offenders being the owner of Barista, someone in an entertainers uniform and a boots uniform. I live in the flats at the top of fieldway and there is a terribly parked vw up along the road which has been abandoned on the path (on the wrong side of the road). The car has been left since 7am this morning when I left for work and is still there now narrowly blocking the road. Recently a tractor has been parked across the bottom of the hill also which is not only a nuisance but quite load at 10/11pm at night. Im not a fan of parking permits as its a scheme for the council to milk money from the residents however it is getting to the stage where all roads around the town will need permits.
