To all the working/career moms out there, I feel for your pain when youre trying to balance being a professional and mom at the same time. Today was to be my first day of my internship as a counselor at Raney Jr High. But Garret was home yesterday with a fever. This morning I found myself hoping hed be able to go to school today so I forced him to get ready for school. All the while knowing he was struggling. So I called my supervisor to cancel. At that moment I felt like I lost all credibility as a professional. When I was loading Garret in the car to take Matthew to school he started barfing in the driveway. At that point, I knew what my most important job was. I truly felt the struggle that working moms face and I just wanted to give you credit for the hard work and emotional struggles you face! You know who you are! 👊
